Strengthened My Faith - Recommended

While it took some time for things to get going, this turned out to be a very good, edifying book. Frankly, it feels like women would tend to appreciate the writing style more than men, since it goes into a lot of relational detail; but... relationships are what make the world go 'round and are what the Body of Christ is all about, so men like me will probably enjoy it too. Just be aware that the first half of the book is very slow and relational; it talks a lot about people and relationships.
However, once things began to "happen," what really stood out to me about the author's story was the tangible reality of her simple relationship with God. The Father's love for her came through clearly, simply, and profoundly. My faith was stirred and strengthened by these simple reminders: God is there. God cares. God answers prayer. God moves, especially for His faithful children.
I definitely recommend this book. It's not overly lengthy, and it will encourage you to seek (and find) the Lord who loves you in a very personal way.

Great book of faith in a very present, caring God

This is an amazing testimony of God's faithfulness and sustaining power during an impossibly difficult time. It encouraged me to trust and see God more in my own trials. It is a must read!

Gave me goose bumps

Wow. This book had me in tears a couple times and gave me goose bumps. Challenged me too. I got it out of pure curiosity and couldn't put it down. Talk about Evidence Not Seen!
